Dust to dust

Tue Dec 1, 2009, 1:57 PM
This particular Sunday sermon....'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust...' He would have continued but at that moment the very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to her mother and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Need no stinkin' membership....

Sun Aug 23, 2009, 5:59 PM
Despite the recent label/comment by the owners/proprietors/administrators/stockholders/lords-of-the manor, or what-have-youse of deviantArt, to the effect that moi, Ochichi, needs a Premium Membership, I hereby totally and publicly deny such pervert cravings. What I really, really, really need is a sex-change operation. And I am saving all my pennies to bring about a realization of such a blissful event!

Great news from my credit card companies

Sun Aug 16, 2009, 6:59 AM
Great time for the credit card companies: They all sent me notices that they are upping my interest rate charges to something like Prime plus what adds up to over 25 percent on cash advances! At the same time, Amex/Discover/Visa are trying to entice me to deposit my hard earned cash with them for an interest return of between 1.45 to (gasp),a "piggishly fat", 1.75% APY. Shucks, they figure they are doing me a super favor by paying me ANYTHING. After all, they've gotten all that moolah from the Feds, free of charge, so why borrow from the consumers (read slaughterhouse sheep)at all. Geez, I thought The Great [add whatever color] Father in The White (?) House was gonna take care of "them bankers and pertect them po' folks". The way things are going, I think soon you will have to pay the banks for them to hold your money... Well, anyhoo, I ain't worrying much about any extra cash around the house needing to be stashed away in any old bank, I'm unemployed---can't you tell from my wasting time posting inane comments like this one on dA?.
